Hey guys -- your recent blog entrys are just great and the suprise me very much. All these colors! I was pretty sure you both would go for a black and white comic and I thought about how to convince you to use one extra color [pink!].
But for me it is absolutly fine to have computer colored images. But I´ll like to experiment a bit in the next days...

Colour...

Nele,

You're right, I thought we all gonna go for Black and White comics, but seeing all the colour artworks is just wonderful. I am divided now.

Hehhee... I love the monkey character.

costs and colours

Hey!
I´m divided too. On one hand it would definetly bridle the costs if we could print the comic in black/white with 4/4 cover. On the other hand - yes the coloured work looks just great. Maybe black/white plus on extra colour could I´ll think about the format of the book for a little while - maybe we should talk about that befor we decide if we colour or not...
*see you later -

PS - I´m thinking about to use a charakter who can switch there heads - monkey and bird and bunny and horse...

Colours...

Hummm...
I think that we have for sure to decide a format now. At least something homotetic (with the same scale)... (HxW) 23cmx17cm???... I don't think the size changes so much the cost of a book actually... except if it's really big of course. The minimum best for me would be : (4 alternative covers + 1 book cover) in colours... the rest I don't know. One extra color could be nice... Maybe one per story? Then we have another thing it's the number of books printed. This can change the price too. I guess we should go to minimum 250 or 500 and more if we can.. what do you think?

About your switching heads... it's very interesting... How will you deal with the personnalities? What I mean is: Is it all in the head or does the body also have some "input" with the brain? Let's say if i have the body of a bird will it interact the same way with reality than if I have the body of a horse? A bit like in a comics of Sensei Taniguchi where he came back to his teenage body, but keeping all his memory of him adult, and feels lighter suddenly and fall down....
:)

Super well done

I'm still unsure about using colors... But I have fun doing them now... But we can think of Bichromie maybe...
