Here are two pictures: One is a revision of storyboard's page 1 - changed the panels to add a city image and more cleaner look as what i got from PieR's suggestion. Smoother introduction to the slugboy character. I also wanted to put "unfinished" buildings in the city and more "junk" future later.
Curretly I'm stuck at a page and don't know how to continue it. Slugboy is supposed to be sent out of the classroom so that LeO can give him something. I couldn't find a nice reason for slugboy to leave the room though.
Looking at PieR, Nele and Faezal's blog posts I see I'm pretty late. Still I'm excited to see how Wires* look in finished form.
Wy the way Faezal is already in Europe and will be meeting with PieR and Nele in the follwing days!!
Hello Powil! Great to see
Hello Powil!
Great to see this!!!
Can't wait to see it done!
About your question... Can't he just go to toilet? Or I guess you look for a reason which could push him to buy paint... hummm... maybe some kind of humiliation? I'll think about it.
Your pages are really cool!! The city is very nice!!!
I do have a comment and a question to make about the page.. You know me right!?... The 2nd panel and the last one. As one is upon the other one, and the 2 positions are almost the same (one standing man), and I'm saying this also because your panels have the same width... I'm wondering if it doesn't confused a bit the reading. Maybe just put Slugboy a bit closer from us... a bit like I did for LeO in the 4th page, first line.. maybe not that much...
And maybe the arm of the "guard" could change position too. Like he is blocking the way, and then open it...
This is just a very open comment, I don't want to interfer in your work ;)
You do what you want and I'm sure it's gonna be perfect!
Anyway, I'm very very happy to see your work! It's really exciting!!!
Keep going and make some beautiful stuff!!!
thanks PieR for the comment
thanks PieR for the comment and suggestions. Yes you got me right: I was looking for a reason (like humiliation as you said) for slugboy to receive the paint.
About the vertical panels with the same width: I've thought of that but only a little bit and a voice in my head told me "nah that small detail won't be noticed!!" but you noticed it! Thanks for the criticism. Maybe we'll change that.
